Below are eleven out of the twelve Season 7 Counter-Strike 1.6 Invite teams. As with Season 6, we used our methods, madness, and bias to pick all but one of the Invite spots and we'll let you, the community, get the last word by picking the final spot. Below, in no particular order, are the teams we picked:

Toni "Cyx" passes.

The German team, mousesports, reported earlier today that they were not able to play in the IEM5 Global Challenge, following Antonio "cyx" Daniloski missing his flight. mousesports have now issued a statement which states that Daniloski yesterday died in a car accident on his way home from Frankfurt airport.

Daniloski had missed his flight yesterday and was on his way home from Frankfurt airport, when one of the tires on the car punctured causing an accident in which the 19 year old German sustained fatal injuries. Today is a sad day for the counterstrike community as well as mousesports. We must say goodbye to our beloved friend and player, Antonio "cyx" Daniloski.

Before, mainLine was known for longevity of their Counter-Strike 1.6 teams a year here, a year there; however the last 2 teams have come and gone faster than my wife changes our son's diaper. Whether the teams have left on their own or have been removed a stable, active team is seemingly the unicorn of the CS world.

Kryptonite this supermans weakness?

The upcoming season of ESEA Season 6 event will be taking place with 8 teams competing to be number one in the nation and for a chance to win 50,000 Dollars. Being only one step away from jumping in the hunt for that money, we got the chance to sit down with the 1.6 captain Superman, who talks about how they are approaching this event and what their expectations are.

For those who are unfamiliar, what is your history with previous teams before joining up with us here at mainLine?

Previous teams that I have played for have been local lan teams I have run and mangaged for past 7 years must Be hacks. Cevo M cal im. When the LAN team took a brake joined up for tryouts for online played cal M with Dead on Arrival. Where me and fellow team mate Acast from mBh easily became their best players. Countless years in cevo m for various teams Meek, purge, and more.

Update:: LAN ETS top 8 guaranteed

Date: 13.03.2010 at 17:24
written by: jdubya
After a long Saturday morning the boys have made their way out of Bracket Play at LAN ETS 2010 - and are continuing their drive to the Grand Finals out of 750+ players all competing for a combined prize pot of $15,000USD.

mLine.cs have not gone unscathed, as they did drop 1 map in group. Unfortunately ETS does not have many coverages going on, but we'll do what we can to keep you up-to-date and demo's if possible. However please feel free to view their live stream at LANETS and we'll keep you up-to-date as the boys continue to progress through the tournament.

UPDATE:
After losing their second map series to Epitome who has steam rolled thru there competition, the boys are competing in lower semi-final brackets taking on Ruthless who downed V3X 16:14 and later losing to Winout 16:7. Worse case scenario if we lose to Ruthless we place top 8, if we advance it only gets better. Long road ahead. Will continue to update as the matches continue early tomorrow (Sunday, March 14th 2010 at LAN ETS)

Thank you again to our sponsors who have made this possible.
