With week 8 here, we are concluding season one as completed. What this means is that week 8 for all teams will be a bye week in order to give rest and give time for those teams that have made playoffs to practice and get ready. We would like to thank all the teams that signed up and stayed active through the thick and thin. We here at GACGL have learned many new things from all the participants about the rules and regulations that were appreciated and not so appreciated. Remember this was our first Season and we are really excited about how it went and now know some of the ways we will look into how we can improve our regulations, rules, and procedures for the better. Now, if there should be a Season 2 for MW2, we would like to have the same number of teams if not more participating to ensure the competition level stays high. What this means is that at least 24 teams must sign up by the deadline we will establish in the future.

The exact date and times that Season 2 will start, including sign ups, pre-season, and the regular season has not yet been decided and if once again a Season 2 is decided to be a viable choice then will release the information in a timely manner and make announcements on our website, GACGL Steam Group and MIRC: #gacgl @ gamesurge

We hope that all the participants are happy with the choices that we made, and are truly sorry to those who may have not agreed with our rulings. It was really a great pleasure to run a league for such a great game that has a great community surrounding it. Playoffs are here, and we won't waste time on starting it and announcing the GACGL Season 1 Champs. We wish all the teams participating in playoffs the best of luck and hope you have enjoyed playing in the league thus far.

Round 1 playoff matches will commence Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 @ 9:00PM Eastern. All matches must be played in a 24 hour period only, this means 24 hours before or after the default times we have chosen. All teams announced please check back to set-up your match times and dates. We will be in full gears here, we will be looking into all the matches and will be making sure that the rules are being followed so read them carefully. Playoffs will run for roughly one week. Due to only 8 teams being allowed into finals because of the inactivity level, we will head straight into quarter finals.

Once again we'd like to thank all the participants and teams for wonderful Season 1 that was full of e exciting matches that were casted by out partners at FPS-Radio. They are also looking into ways to improve their casting system in order to accommodate their viewers for smoother cast in the future.
